Red Sky At Morning [Paperback] Review

Red Sky At Morning [Paperback]I've been a fan of Melissa Good's work, especially the Dar and Kerry series, for a long time now.I own all the prior books in the series and I absolutely LOVE them!I reread them frequently and even though I know what's coming, Ms. Good's undeniable gift from the Muses manages to pull me in so that I feel like I am reading the stories for the first time.
With that said, I must admit that I am very disappointed in this next installment in the DaK series. The combination of military jargon and complex computer scenarios make this novel kind of boring for an average civilian who is no computer geek like Dar Roberts. Aside from that, I was most disappointed in the characters this time around.I mean, just how many different ways can you make Dar Roberts out to be this super-human person who is too good to interact with the people around her?I feel like this novel captured them all.Yuck!I couldn't even finish the book!Who wants to read hundreds of pages about a person like that?
I would suggest skimming the online version of this story for the Dar and Kerry parts. Those are always so beautiful.Otherwise, this book is not a necessary investment.
