If I could just throw in my 2 cents, along with 23 cents more, I'd have to say that this book was great! It's an invaluable resource for school kids, collectors, etc.Did it "change" my life?I don't know, but it was a light, interesting read.I used to think quarters were just 2-bit pocket change, good only for a shave and a haircut in the olden days, or about 7 mins. in ripoff dryer #17 in a laundromat that shall remain nameless for legal reasons, but this book made me realize that they're something more. They're little flat round metal tributes to General and 1st U.S. President George Washington, combined with the unique attributes and artistic flair of each of the 50 states of the Good 'Ole US of A.The political intrigue behind each state's selection process was something I hadn't considered before.I bet other similar books aren't even 25% as good .....or witty.A must for the quarter fan!
