Red Sky in the Morning: The Post KATRINA Cover-up (Paperback) Review

Red Sky in the Morning: The Post KATRINA Cover-upIf you love a book with great characters, twisty, embedded story lines and a reasonable weekend read length; grab this one.
I was a little taken back by the title prior to reading the book.Post Katrina was such a political extravaganza that I was not sure whether it was about that.I was overjoyed to see it was not. Perhaps in a bit of tongue in cheek, the author used the title to "cover up" the real story inside!
I really liked the character of the mortician, turned taxidermist, turned (!!!). All the characters were fleshed out and interesting (and there were plenty of them).I personally think that Johnny Williams' character got a bit lost in the mayhem, but at the end of the day (and the book) he did the right thing. This thing might make a fun stage play someday!
Go for it, have some fun and read this, then pass it on like I did.
